Just think…. It’s almost 2020 and I still like the old things better!

We live in a time when technology has really excelerated and there are endless options for high qualtiy items. But sometimes the things made in high production or in haste lack the quality of items that other people consider worthless.

Many new things are missing the character, of older items. And I’ve found that many times the older pieces are built to a better degree of quality than production made items. In a lot of instances we’ve found these older items are built in such a way that they can be disassembled, repaired and rebuilt much better than newer items.

Needless to say, I have found that the older items, whether, furniture, trinkets, household items, or even houses sometimes have great potential. With some effort and thought they can sometimes be restored to a condition better than original, at least in a cosmetic way if not in a mechanical manner as well.

That really is the idea behind our blog. That is to use these older items that some other person may view as beyond useful and to turn it into something to be proud of.
